Agribusiness Exports News

Agriculture CS Hon Peter Munya has waved all charges on licences for purposes of exporting Miraa at the national level.

Speaking in Meru County, the CS said that Miraa traders will no longer be required to pay any fee for licences, for them to export the commodity. This he said, is a measure to facilitate recovery from Covid-19 and from lack of miraa market.

Further, he urged the Meru County Government to follow suit by waving all fees on licences for Miraa farmers, to uplift their livelihoods.
